THERAPY
I provide treatment to adults with a wide range of emotional difficulties. This can include; anxiety, depression, low mood and stress. My treatment approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. Treatment will be individualised depending on your concerns and goals. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
I am now providing online therapy through video link.
What to expect
When you first contact me I will ask some brief questions to ensure I am able to provide the appropriate service for you. If I am unable to help, I will do my best to direct you to an appropriate colleague.
At your first appointment I will ask you about your main reason for seeking support help and what your goals for treatment are.
Once we have come to a joint understanding of your concerns and goals a treatment plan will be created with you along with an estimate of the number of appointments required. Often, this is completed at our first appointment but sometimes an additional appointment may be required.
During your treatment you may be asked to complete some work or tasks between appointments to help you achieve your goals. We will continue to review your progress on a regular basis.
